The Garden Route is undeniable one of the top 10 spots for paragliding in the world. With it's breathtaking views, unbelievable scenic coastline, empty stretches of beaches, cliffs, forest, dunes, hills & the backdrop of the high Outeniqua mountains which acts as natural barrier & make this Garden of Eden possible.

 

Here is a short itinerary of what to expect during the journey:

Our journey starts at Scarab Village (Sedgefield) where we will meet you (please arrange with us for transfer from George Airport to Scarab Village).  We will check into our accommodation.  Depending on the wind we will fly our first site (depending on time of arrival at the accommodation).  Our day will start with breakfast around 7:00.  After breakfast we will depart for the day of flying.  We will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area (own cost).  After a full day of flying we will head back to the lodge.  You will have time to freshen up, have a sun downer on the deck & watch the sun setting over the ocean.  During your 10 day stay, you will have a chance to will fly the sites listed below.  You will have the opportunity to do coastal soaring.  These 8 sites are set in a radius of 30 km around George.

What is included during your journey:

- All recovery at the sites.

- 9 x Breakfasts during your stay at the lodge.

- 9 x Dinners during your stay at the lodge.

- 9 days accommodation at the lodge.

What is excluded during your journey:

- Flights to & from George Airport.

- Lunches during your stay.

- Personal items.

PLEASE NOTE:

The wind direction will determine which sites we fly for the day.

 

On days where the weather is not good for flying we will visit Storms River National Park (Suspension bridge) where we will hike the route.  You can choose among a variety of other activities to do (own cost).  Please visit the tab "Non fly days".  We will also stop at the famous Bloukrans bridge for those who want to bungee jump  (own cost to bungee).
